Ford Goes Big with 2017 Focus RS; Other Hatchbacks Go Home

If ever there were a high-performance hatchback that could render us here at Central Ford straight-up speechless, our esteemed American automaker's, the 2017 Focus RS, would most certainly be it.

Wondering why we feel like we do?

Then, the clip below has your name on it. Link up with AutoGuide.com Road Test Editor Dan Ilika, as he puts the Focus RS through its paces:

At the core of the Focus RS, a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine holds court with a six-speed manual transmission. Served up standard with all-wheel drive, the hatch makes a monstrous 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.

Similarly, it can do the 0-to-60 mph dash with absolute aplomb, arriving there in a freakish 4.7 seconds.
