Looking for something a little more efficient? The 2021 Escape can equip a 2.5-liter hybrid or plug-in hybrid engine, with the hybrid managing an EPA-estimated 43/37 mpg city/highway. The Chevy Equinox has no hybrid engine in its lineup currently.

Interior

Looking to fill every nook and cranny for your family vacation? The 2021 Escape offers up to 65.4 cubic feet behind the front row - the Equinox is a bit more limited, with only 63.9 cubic feet.

Technology
